Hello Anne,

Together with my 10 year old son we did a city walk in the oldest part of
Amsterdam.

We are both born and raised in
Amsterdam. Still we were surprised with new tidbits and acts about our beloved hometown. Our guide was Bernadette and we didn't get bored for a minute!
I can highly recommend Anne Amsterdam if you want to explore the city with your child. Bernadette talks very fluently and with a lot of knowledge.
The route has been carefully chosen with surprising historical but also culinary facts.

Bernadette thanks for the great tour! We really enjoyed it.

Kia Ora Anne,

We are a New Zealand family of four and had a wonderfully interesting and engaging tour with Bernadette. We moved to Amsterdam four months ago and the tour really helped us grown ups get a feel for the city, as it is now and where it has come from. Our two boys were kept active and engaged during our walk about. There were things for them to look for and places to discover. Bernadette had really considered what would keep the boys attention while allowing my wife and I to hear her stories of Amsterdam. We have come away from our tour more in love with the city.

Thank you!

Dearest Anne,

On an early crisp Sunday morning in November, Bernadette from Anne Amsterdam hosted a walk through some of the old parts of Amsterdam. Her endless knowledge of the historical background of every building, canal, church or statue made it possible for me to really step into the past. She could make me believe we were walking the streets of 12-13th century Amsterdam, amongst well dressed nobles, poor serfs and impressing admirals that temporarily docked their ships in the Amsterdam harbor. I could almost smell the salted herring, the traded beer and imported spices. Meanwhile enjoying my tasty 20th century latte. In short, it was a magical and very informative tour with the most pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide.  It's definitely a must for visitors and Amsterdammers that enjoy living in this breathtaking city!
